Polarbear unveils a groundbreaking story-based project that brings together young people, artists and audience in the creation of a fictional online world.
Having set up his own Community Interest Company, Bearheart with creative producer Amy Martin, Steven Camden aka Polarbear has received funding from Arts Council England to realize an innovative young people’s creative project that is set across a virtual platform.

The story is set in Wakens Tip, the newest and most highly funded educational institution in the history of the country. Built on the site of a demolished state school and funded by the Steinsir Corporation, Wakens Tip is billed as the ‘...genuine future for the needs of tomorrow’. Learners are groomed to become creative professionals for a changing world. A combination of catered learning, specialist subject tutors and state of the art psychological profiling ensure that any young person attending Wakens Tip will realise their professional potential. Of course, it’s not that simple.

Written by Steven and brought to life in motion graphic, 3D animation and doctored video by the creative team led by Tristan Vanger aka Gustav Balderdash, sTaTe will be housed on a multi faceted online platform, built by digital agency, Substrakt.
